"We are all just walking each other home." - Ram Dass

Our goal at Painted Path Art Therapy, LLC is simple. Feeling deeply seen, heard, and understood in the therapeutic connection, is healing in and of itself. When blended with art therapy techniques, our art therapists facilitate opportunities for clients to engage in art making that will highlight strengths and insights they can leverage to overcome life's challenges. We strive to help our clients restore balance, find meaning in their challenges, experience growth, and optimize their well-being.

Painted Path Art Therapy, LLC owner Melissa Ayotte, MA, ATR-BC is no stranger to adversity.

As a child, she experienced many challenges both at home and in her community. She had to learn to navigate these challenges with what, early on,  she saw as her faulty, sensitive processing system. Through art she realized the qualities she perceived as her greatest limitations were actually her greatest assets. She discovered that she could communicate things she had no words for. When she created objects of beauty, purpose, and meaning, she felt restored and confident. The first time she heard the words "Art Therapy" her passion was ignited. Having personally experienced the healing power of art, she wanted to help others connect with their own innate healing potential.

At Painted Path Art Therapy, LLC clients will receive individualized and personal service. We recognize that life's challenges can become overwhelming and that asking for help can be difficult.
